Food
A great start to a day on the slopes with tea, coffee or fruit juice brought to your bedroom door.
Breakfast is a hearty affair here! A different hot option will be offered each morning along with the daily regulars of cereal, fresh crusty bread with jams, honey and of course Nutella and Marmite, plus yogurts, fruit, tea, filter coffee and fruit juice.
Afternoon tea in front of the log fire. On your return from a hard days fun on the snow a freshly baked cake, tart or cookies made that morning will be waiting for you with hot and cold drinks. Why not delve into the honesty bar for an après ski drink before your sumptuous dinner?
The perfect end to the day. A lovingly prepared three course evening meal with wine served at the large dining room table with views up the valley into the Vanoise National Park. Enjoy a starter, main course and dessert followed by coffee and all accompanied by unlimited red or white wine. On the Saturday evening before your departure we will host a Gala Dinner with canapes, your 3 course meal and an impressive local cheese board all to top off an unforgettable holiday! Ski hire & lift passes
As a Chalet Algonquin guest you will enjoy a discount on your ski, board and boots hire from a recommended ski hire shop in resort.
By booking your ski passes in advance through On The Alps you will get a 5% discount from the advertised prices and they will be waiting for you when you arrive at the chalet. No standing in long queues before you can hit the slopes! Please click here for further details.
Transport - In & Out of Resort
Chalet Algonquin is only 10 metres from the bus stop with a free regular shuttle service to and from the first lift but we like to take you there and bring you back in comfort in your own private transport. We will also take you to the ski hire shop for your fitting at the beginning of the week and again at the end of the week to return your hire and settle your account.
Transfers to and from the local train and coach stations as well as Geneva, Chambery, Lyon and Grenoble airports can be organised on your behalf. Please email details of your travel plans and we will be happy to source you a quote and make those arrangements for you.
